Welnys Wins Second Place in 2020 SmallBiz Women Entrepreneurs STEM Awards
Welnys Founder and CEO, Heather Waibel, was awarded second place for her pitch in the Association for Women in Science, 2020 Tri-State Smallbiz Women Stem Entrepreneurs competition. The competition is open to entrepreneurial teams led by female STEM professionals in the Tri- State area.

Welnys Competes in New Jersery Tech Council "Startup Showdown"
The New Jersey Tech Council recently held it’s inaugural live show featuring 3 startups from New Jersey. One of the startups from the show titled “Jersey Strong” featured Welnys Founder Heather Waibel. Heather pitched her company to three judges, Kelly Ford Buckley, general partner at Princeton venture capital firm Edison Partners; Mark Kolb, entrepreneur in residence at Tech Council Ventures; and Allison Williams, director of NVP labs at Newark Venture Partners.
